2007-2008 Dons' Bands Award Banquet

We want to congratulate all of our band members that were recognized Tuesday night 5/20/2008 at the Dons' Bands Award Banquet.   Click here for pictures and a list of the award recipients.


Congratulations to Ethan Powers and Nina Porter for being selected to the 2008 AMEA Central Region Honor Orchestra!!!  Ethan was selected as Principal Trumpet and Nina was selected as Second Horn.  Ethan and Nina will now have to opportunity to audition for All-State.

Zach Gray was selected to the Central Region Honor Choir.  He is First Chair Tenor.  Ricky Mulder is second alternate.  Zach will also have the opportunity to audition for All-State Choir.

Congratulations to all of the CHS students!!


Scottsdale District High School Honor Band

Congratulations to our Scottsdale District High School Honor Band participants.  The performance was held Tuesday March 18th at Saguaro High School.  This was the first honor band performance held in the Scottsdale School District.  Michael Watts was the guest conductor.

2008 Heritage Music Festival

Congratulations Dons Concert Band  and Percussion Ensemble!

The Dons Bands brought home two 1st place plaques, the First Place group trophy and one individual trophy.

The Excellent rating qualifies the Marching Band to participate in the State Marching Festival on November 10th.  Way to go Dons Band!!!
