CHS Band Boosters 2012 Golf Tournament Committee
Fry's / Kroger Stores Fundraiser
HOW DOES THE
PROGRAM WORK?
Don’s Bands Supporters can buy a Fry's
Gift Card for $5 and will get a gift card in return with $5
loaded on it (so really, you are paying nothing for the
card).
Then, the buyer reloads the gift card at
the register at Fry's before
paying for their groceries. Then the clerk totals
your groceries and subtracts from the gift card. Gift cards
are like cash. The remaining money will stay on the card
until its next use. You can reload the card up to $500 at a
time.
Important!
In order for the Dons Band Boosters to
receive credit, recharges must be done prior to the start of
your order. All recharges must be done as a separate
transaction. Recharges cannot take place within an order.
NOTE: All
card must be purchased through
Melinda Contreras. Click on her name to send
an e-mail for details.
and... These cards are accepted at all

b.. $10,001- $25,000- 4%
c.. $25,001- $75,000 - 5%
d.. $75,001 and up - 6%
b.. Checks are issued to the Dons Band
Boosters twice a year within 6-8 weeks after the accumulated
period ends.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
a.. If the magnetic strip will not work and
the card number cannot be keyed in at the register, simply
contact the Consumer Services Department and we will issue
another card for the balance that is on the original card.
b.. These gift cards are like cash; if lost
or stolen they will not be replaced.
c.. If a card maintains a zero balance for 90
days, the gift card will become deactivated and another card
will need to be purchased.
d.. Supporters can always find the balance of
their gift card by looking at the bottom of their latest
receipt.

Supporting education and the development of youth is one of
Albertsons core charitable initiatives. We believe this is
one of the greatest ways we can positively affect the
quality of life in our communities.
The Community Partners Card program - a partnership between
Albertsons and our communities' schools and youth
organizations - was established in 1997. Since then,
Albertsons has given back more than $65 million to the
communities we serve!
Albertsons contributes a percentage of purchases made by the
supporters of qualified and enrolled schools (grades pre-K
through 12) and non-profit youth organizations. Each time
supporters shop Albertsons and Sav-on Drugs with their
registered Preferred Savings Card, they earn contributions.
It's that easy!

Credit and how it benefits our Bands.
Arizona State Tax Credit
Did
you know that the Arizona State Tax Credit can help
you pay for a large portion of your band
activities? For example, SUSD has ruled that 100%
of Band Camp can be paid for with Tax Credit money.
And you don’t have to be the only one taking
advantage of the tax credit. Print out several
copies of the Tax Credit form from the band website
and take it to your friends, neighbors, or relatives
(not necessarily in that order). They can
contribute the maximum based on their tax status and
designate your Band student or the Band program as
the recipient. Then when filing the Arizona State
Income Tax for 2010, the money comes back as a
direct credit to the amount of taxes owed. It’s
simple, it’s painless, and everyone can feel a
little better about paying their income tax.
